Borneo/Horseflesh "Courage Rock"&"No Riffs!"

Borneo & Horseflesh "Courage Rock" cd-r-limited to 50 & "No Riffs" c-41-limited to 33
A collaboration between Borneo(a rock band) and Horseflesh(a noise droner) doesn't sound like it should work, but it does. Even surprising the players how much it worked. Across the 5 tracks on the cd one can hear an understanding of different sounds at work, and each person allowing each other the space needed to do what they do best. For instance, where a guitar lead would be, the noise swells up and becomes the lead,at times engulfing the drums and guitar all together. At times it just sounds like Borneo are playing by themselves and no noise is in sight. A fruitful collaboration indeed. Talks of a volume two of Courage Rock is in the works. "This time with vocals!"

The "No Riffs" cassette is a different version of the same story above. Horseflesh asked if he could remix the album by slowing this drum track down, adding effects, backwards masking, etc. Borneo agreed and let him play without any of their input. Creating two twenty minute cavernous tracks of delay, distortion and tape manipulation.

Ozmadawn-"Deepest Sleep" 2c41-limited to 50

Ozmadawn-"Deepest Sleep" 2c41-Limited to 50---out of print---
Over a year in the works from idea to completion, the "Deepest Sleep" presents two very different sides of Ozmadawn. Tape 1 is meant to be used as a aid for sleeping or meditation.(Smoke & Spirits) Side A has a looped vocal going in an out as static begins to fall in and out. Towards the end the sounds of alien birds can be heard. Side B the static is in full embrace, almost sounding like the white noise from a baby monitor.

Side C & D show Ozmadawn in it's cranked up krauty neu age glory. Side C lulls the listen in before it takes off into space, and continues on into a loop the 3 Spacemen would be proud of.Side D actually has a riff. The riff soon becomes engulfed by a blur of hiss and noise for the next 10 minutes. The noise begins to rise up and down, echoing side A, before the riff comes crashing in again.

Perineum- "Lucid Evil" c41-(with denim patch)

Perineum "Lucid Evil" c41-CHA14-limited to 23
Perineum unleashes another cassette deep from the bowels of bleak existence that is city living. Speaking of Bleak. Side 1 is Perineum recorded live at Bleakhas(RIP?) in the summer of 2009. Once the heckling stops Perineum begin their slow descent into oblivion for the next 18 minutes or so. Side 2 is an all new studio recording from them in February of 2010. Intense focus and control are the name of game here, before everything detonates into the abyss.

Illusori-"Reveri" cdr

Illusori-"Reveri" CHA 7 cdr limited to 30----way out of print--

Illusori(Jonah Rust of Ozmadawn) on his first solo outing creates a tapestry of hiss and buzz that eases the listeners into a pleasant space. Using an array of pedals and modular synthesis to create an aural therapy all his own.

Delay in posts!

Sorry for the delay and the weak update. There will be a lot more art coming and if I ever have some money, some releases.

Horseflesh "Sea Of Tyrants" C-40
Horseflesh "Straightening by Fire" lp- that's right vinyl.
Horseflesh "Coal Walker" c-40--a companion to Straightening

Ozmadawn "The Deepest Sleep" double cassette
Ozmadawn " the Red & Black" lp

And hopefully releases by Amphibious Gestures, Headboggle, and quite a few others. And probably a very brutal Perineum release in there. Anyone got a few grand I can borrow? Oh well, back to the drawing board.
